Our first goal this year is to equip our local NMI Presidents and Pastors through better communication.Through this web site we will provide links to our missionary speakers, our Work and Witness Projects, Convention planning and resources for planning your local NMI events.
You spoke and we listened, thank you to everyone who provided the council with input and feed back at the convention.You will find the councils email addresses on this website, as it is also our goal to continue to listen to you.You are one of our most valuable resources and we look forward to sharing with the district your unique ideas that have been a success in promoting NMI in your church.
We will also be communicating with our local presidents this year by offering a workshop for each team.Your team leader will be contacting you with date/place and time of your workshop. This workshop will be open to Presidents, Pastors, Council members and guests that you feel would benefit form this opportunity to learn about NMI. At this workshop we will offer new and fresh ways of communicating with your pastor and congregation the many aspects of NMI as we believe there is an opportunity for everyone to be involved in missions.
Our second goal is to bring a local council to each church.Again, we look forward to hearing from you what is working with your council.We will work together to bring about a realistic council that serves the individual needs of your congregation.We will work together to bring leadership to any congregation that does not have an NMI President by assisting in hosting at least one event this church year.
This council is committed to bringing leadership to NMI by making all resources available to us, available to you.
