| Biography
Herb and Alyce Ratcliff served thirty-four years in five nations, including Trinidad Bible College for 21 years, Puerto Rico for six years, and Guyana South Africa. Their major ministry was in teaching and evangelism. Herb served as a pastor for six years prior to their appointment to missions.
His call was birthed in 1954 with a desire to be a missionary and was later confirmed largely by prayer to the extent that he and Alyce asked to be appointed as Nazarene missionaries. Their vision was and is training national converts to be ministers to their people.
Herb is a graduate of Nazarene Theological Seminary and Alyce attended Pasadena College. They have three children, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
In June 2009, Herbert went to be with the Lord.
